The book tells you exactly how to go about setting up a bridal department in your salon. Or if you don't want a whole department there is a lot of good information on servicing the bridal client. There is good help for pricing structures, scheduling the bride, selling services, make-up, networking with others who serve the bride, even making head pieces for the bride and/or her party. The book is well made and organized, containing super rich content in a compact size. I also found those photos in good quality.
Along with the book you also get the access to the Student Consult online which I think still needs improvement. The software took a lot of time to synchronize with my PDA and it generates many un-coded letters.
But anyhow, this book itself is worth the price. The Clear Skin Prescription: The Perricone Program to Eliminate Problem Skin Author: Nicholas PerriconeThis program plus microdermx workedI used to have acne scars, zits and skin that was showing signs of aging. I used the perricone program for a while and did like have some positive results. But then after hearing about Microdermx on beauty forums, I tried it and the Microdermx has completely changed my bad skin into skin that I looks beautiful to me. I have about 85% less acne scars, no acne, and my skin is firmer with a glow. The price is better too than say Dr. Brandts.His skin products don't work. His diet isn't new (and imperfect)
It hasn't been clinically proven that Perricone skin products work. My mom (age 46) tried them anyway, and they didn't work.

His advice to stay away from grains (and whatever comes from them, of course) is great, but not new. Yes, farm-raised salmon is screwed up, eat the wild one, but again, I knew that already.

And I disagree with his complicated "system" of taking supplements. If you just eat normal food, like vegetables and fruit, NOT grains and soda, you won't need supplements. The only supplement you need is fish oil, since farm-raised animals that we eat lack necessary fatty acids.Great book! But get the supplements for less...I think the biggest complaint or criticism of Dr. Perricone's recommendations is the excessive cost of supplements and creams. With regard to the supplements, Dr. Perricone gives recommendations on the vitamins and supplements you should take. I spent some time looking at all the ingredients listed and realized that you can get those same supplements, vitamins, and minerals at your local health food / vitamin store (GNC carries a lot of them (get DMAE here) and so does Trader Joe's (you can get the Complete EFA (essential fatty acids), Alpha Lipoic Acid, but does not have DMAE), and Costco (good price for CoEnzyme Q10)! The prices are much more reasonable. (In fact, on the nvperricone website, the vitamin packets list all the ingredients and the amount of product included in the packets. In his book, he makes dosage recommendations too.) I hope this helps. more...

Skin Author: Ted DekkerSliding downhill fast!I didn't go back to see but I believe this is the first rating I have given Dekker below a 4. To say that Dekker has "found himself" (as another reviewer writes) is very troubling. "SKIN" is not the Dekker I know and love. With all the promise that Shodown gave us it is a mystery to me what has happened in Saint and now Skin.

The Circle Trilogy is far and away Dekker's masterpiece. I'm glad to see he is reviving that series next year. Ted, if SKIN is the direction you are headed, please turn around and come back to us. Ted Dekker hits another out of the parkAs an avid reader, I have to say that Ted Dekker's novels are probably some of the most gripping and enjoyable books I've read, and 'SKIN' is no exception.
He completely draws you into the novel, with his vivid, descriptive nature; He has a gift of writing in a way that can make you feel as though you actually know the characters about which he writes.
This book is a masterpiece - A brilliantly written work, with uncanny twists and surprises, and the ultimate battle between good and evil.

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy a good page-turner that will entrance and engulf you from the very first chapter.Read Frank Peretti insteadWas good at the beginning and then went too bizarre. There is also a refreshing aspect that this book is written for practicing dermatologists and avoids much of the incomprehensibility of so-called academic dermatology texts. Andrews is much improved over the last edition with color photos and the input from Dirk Elston, one of the most prolific dermatogists in the country. This is the one book EVERY dermatologist should have on his desk.

Like the exercises they are targeted and precise, so you use only a few products to have good skin without spending a fortune. With Facercise there is NO NEED for surgery, ever!

My next step is to get a privae lesson designed just for me -on the exercises-with Carole or one of the individuals she has trained that are in different cities around the country, even in Hawaii. This will take me to the next level, so I can build on what I have learned in the Facercise Book.

Thank goodness for this Wonderful Book,it has shown me that I am in control over my looks and that I can "bend time the other way"! non-surgical faceliftIt makes sense. Just as you need to exercise the rest of your body, you need to exercise the face to keep the muscles toned like when you were young. Carole shows you how. Why go through the trauma and danger of surgery when you can tone you face naturally?
